What we do
We have around eight members but would always welcome new ones. We are an informal, friendly group. We take it in turns to choose books and are always very honest and open in our discussion.
During the life of the group we have considered a variety of books, both fiction and non-fiction. Many of the books lead the discussion into broader issues that tend to be current in the world today.
Belonging to a book club encourages one to read books that otherwise would not be chosen, which we believe is is very positive as it helps to our minds open to different genres, writers, subjects etc.
